Are Pterosaurs Alive in the USA?

On February 24, 1976 three school teachers in San Antonio, Texas were driving on rural street. Suddenly a shadow appeared, engulfing the entire width of the road. Looking upward they caught sight of an enormous flying creature they had never seen before. It had no feathers strongly resembled a Pteranodon. One of the teachers said, “It’s just unreal, I don’t know it could have survived all those millions of years and still be flying around…”

Over 120 people in North America claimed to have witnessed an animal which most contemporary scientists believe never existed in recent history. These animals are called pterosaurs. Fossilized remains show that there were many different kinds of these flying reptiles. Throughout history, living relics have been encountered, some called them dragons and others they called thunderbirds. Modern reports have surfaced in Cuba, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Africa, Peru, Mexico, and the USA. For the past six years, Herb Stine, a living pterosaur investigator has traveled from Mexico to Canada in search of a living pterosaur. His studies have lead him to believe that Pteranodons are still alive. “The descriptions are usually of a creature with a beak, a knob on the back of head, leathery wings, frequently the creatures are brown or black… they migrate up from Central America and Mexico. I believe I know the exact location where a group is living, probably of right now (in Mexico). They are often seen coming through the Sonora Desert, which is along New Mexico, the border of Mexico, and Arizona. There is too much evidence from the Vikings onto the present day that support the fact that pterosaurs lived with man and are still with man. These creatures are still alive, they are in very remote places and every once in awhile one will be seen in Southern Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, or California.” – Herb Stine.

Unfortunately, most people are not open to the possibility of pterosaurs still being alive and even many cryptozoologists reject the idea. However, there are a few dedicated researchers trying to uncover the truth about these “dragons” that have escaped extinction.

An old story from the Sioux Indians tells of a huge bird that had a horn on back of its head and did not have feathers. What better description of a living pterosaur can you get? In Colorado an Indian prayer stick was discovered that clearly depicts the head of a Pteranodon. There are still sightings of these creatures in Colorado. In Mexico an ancient ornament was found that shows pterosaur-like creature on a broken egg. The fact these artifacts have been found in the places where these creatures are seen only powerfully supports the statement that pterosaurs could still be alive.

Richard Guzman and a friend were startled to see a large flying creature with a head-crest, no feathers, and a long tail and a flange at the end; near Houston, Texas.

In Brownsville, Texas, Alverico Guajardo was his mobile home when he heard something hit the side of his trailer. Carefully opening the door, he saw a very terrifying and huge bird-like creature. The beak was over three feet long. He later told a reporter, “Its like a bird, but it’s not a bird.”
